33 Narration 4 O nl y Narrator 1: How quickly the scene changed! In the hours that immediately followed His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, a plot began to unfold that would ultimately lead to the arrest of this One who had dramatically transformed so many lives by His love! vi ew Narrator 2: Even as He anticipated the difficult hours soon to come, Jesus gathered His disciples in an upper room to celebrate the Passover Feast. His words were tender and His message one of encouragement: " As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. If you obey My commands, you will remain in My love." Fo rP re Narrator 1: After sharing the Passover meal and some intimate moments of teaching and encouragement, Jesus and His closest followers went to a place called Gethsemane. There, in the darkest hours of His earthly life, He fully embraced God's plan to offer Himself as a sacrifice for the people He had come to save. Narrator 2: On this most difficult of nights, Jesus found Himself rejected by the very people He had come to love and redeem. Even His closest followers would soon fall away as He walked the path set before Him in an act of humble submission. 55/1163&65L-33
