69 NARRATION This is Easter! The story of Jesus, God in flesh come to save. News of His name and ministry spread across the Galilean hillside and throughout the surrounding regions as one who taught with authority, who healed the sick and opened blinded eyes. Everywhere He went, lives were changed. HALLELUJAH HE'S ALIVE HOSANNA (music to "Hosanna" begins) In preparation for Passover, Jesus and His disciples made their way to Jerusalem where they were met with a crowd of people waving palm branches and shouting "Hosanna, blessed is He who comes in the name of the L ORD." It wasn't long before the shouts of praise began to fade into whispers of deceit and betrayal. As the hour drew near, Jesus gathered around a table with His disciples in an upper room and while they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is My body." Then He took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, and said, "Drink from it, all of you." (music to "This Is Me" begins) THIS IS ME (narration begins after "Hallelujah He's Alive") "This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins." Later that night, one of the very disciples sitting at the table with Jesus would betray Him with a kiss. The Savior would be arrested, (music to "Behold the Man" begins) BEHOLD THE MAN ...taken before the High Priest Caiaphas and later turned over to Pilate who would find no fault in Him. He was beaten, a crown of thorns placed upon His head and a purple robe upon His back. They mocked Him saying, "Hail, king of the Jews!" JESUS, ONLY KING FOREVER Over the ages there have been kings with kingdoms, rulers and lords with great wealth, power and earthly fame, yet only one has been given a name above every other name. Only one has fulfilled every promise of scripture, lived a perfect life, died and rose again conquering death, hell and the grave. He is the One, the Messiah, Jesus, the only King forever! (music to "Jesus, Only King Forever" begins) For Preview Only
