LESSON SEVEN – THE MESSAGE OF HOPE
Luke 2:8-16
Narrator:
That night in the fields outside of Bethlehem, a group of shepherds guarded their
flock of sheep. Suddenly, an angel appeared before them and the sky was filled
with brilliant light. "Don't be afraid," said the angel. "I have come to bring you good
news. A Child, the promised Savior, has been born in Bethlehem. You will find Him
wrapped in cloth, lying in a manger." The hills echoed with the sound of angels sing-
ing, "Glory to God!" And then, as suddenly as they had appeared, they were gone.
The shepherds left immediately and found the Child just as the angel had said.
