NARRATOR :
The Psalmist centuries ago framed a question that all of humanity
have asked since the Garden of Eden- "Who may ascend the
mountain of the Lord? And who may stand in His holy place?
"Jesus is the answer to that question. How do we know? Because of His blood.
(music to "When I Think of the Blood" begins)
We see it as He gathers with His disciples for their last meal,
as He prays to His father in the garden, and as His life ebbs
away on a cross outside Jerusalem.
His blood was there…
We see it in the cup as He raised it up and blessed it…
On His brow as He agonized over the cup of grief…
Flowing from His head, and His hands, and His feet,
The penalty of our sin was paid once and for all…by the blood of Jesus.
