Leavitt. Adapted from a Bach cantata, this
joyful work will allow younger ensembles the

Amazing Grace—arr. Benjamin David
Knoedler. This marvelous new arrangement of
the classic hymn begins with children "oohing"
the melody over a quiet piano accompaniment.
Their sustained "oohs" continue while the
piano takes a verse. Two sung verses are
followed by the hymn ending as gently as it
began. This is a lovely, effective arrangement
of the familiar hymn that can be sung by adults
as well as children.

l Amazing Grace for the Lost Lamb—Ruth
Elaine Schram. This tender anthem tells
the Parable of the Lost Sheep with beautiful
vocal lines in a pleasing meter. The second
stanza is a setting of Amazing Grace, which
complements the message with "I once was
lost, but now am found." The two melodies
combine to provide a lovely partner song,
reinforcing independent singing in each part.
A gentle unison ending sweetly expresses,
"Jesus carried me home to the fold."

opens with the Cameroon processional Praise,
Praise, Praise the Lord, which transitions
seamlessly into Amazing Grace and infuses
the beloved hymn with jubilant energy. Becki's

Light of the Son
Kimberly Ingram/arr. Joe Milton.
This memorable anthem offers a message of advocacy,
compassion, and generosity. The catchy melody is such fun to
sing, especially alongside the fantastic instrumental track. The
repeated phrase, "I don't know your name, but Jesus loves
us the same, and we stand together as one in the light of the
Son" can bring about meaningful discussions of how we are
different yet the same. Makes a great theme anthem for an
outreach or service project, Sunday school unit, choir kick-off,
or Vacation Bible School.
