(under his breath) So . . . it looks like they are doing a play. Should we
activate the "JingleAlert?"
E:
Not yet. We still don't know what's in the boxes.
L:
Wait! We need to be careful not to—
F:
Let me help! (accidentally knocks over a box, exposing their hiding
place) Oops!
MS. MAPLE: (walking over to them) Well, who do we have over here? Come on out;
don't be shy! Are you here for the rehearsal?
E:
(Thinking fast) Um, yes we are!
MS. MAPLE:Well, it looks as if this will be perfect! Three parts just opened up.
Josiah, please help our new Wise Men with their costumes. (Kids clap
as E, L, & F exit, put on robes and reenter.) Now, let's continue our
rehearsal with a song about what was happening before the angels
and before the manger. God's people were waiting, longing for a
Savior.
(music begins to "God with Us")
