51 KID #4: (runs in from off stage carrying a huge candy cane made of PVC pipe) How about a ginormous candy cane? ALL KIDS: Yes! Woo hoo! Candy canes! NARRATOR: I have an idea. What about bells!? (goes behind a chair, pulls out a giant handbell, and acts like it is too heavy to manage – staggering around the stage with the bell) What about a giant, enormous, humongous bell!? ALL KIDS: (laughing) Yes! Bells! (DVD on) SONG: "RING LITTLE BELLS" (Archibald Asparagus, Larry the Cucumber and KIDS) Children sing along with DVD; everyone plays jingle bells, melody bells – all kinds of bells! (DVD off) KID #5: (runs in from off stage carrying a huge package) Presents!? ALL KIDS: Yes! Yea! Cheers! Presents! (etc.) NARRATOR: OK, yes! Presents! KID #6: (runs in from off stage carrying something else obviously NOT Christmas, i.e., a pirate flag, a beach ball, etc.; the kids react with: Nooooooooo! Not THAT! KID #7: (runs over to a bare Christmas tree already set up on stage; gestures dramatically toward the tree) A Christmas tree! You can't have a Christmas show without a Christmas tree! NARRATOR: Great idea, (child's name)! Let's all decorate our Christmas tree! {While the children cheer and begin to pull out decorations from a huge box on stage and put them on the tree, the lights fade} (DVD on) SONG: [Silly Songs with Larry:] "Oh, Where Is My Tinsel?" - KIDS sing along with Larry on each of the choruses. NARRATOR (on DVD): (over intro to music): And now it's time for Silly Songs with Larry, the part of the show where Larry comes out and sings a silly song. Our curtain opens as Larry is searching for his tinsel. LARRY (singing): Oh, where is my tinsel? Oh, where is my tinsel? Oh where, oh where, oh where, oh where, oh where, oh where, oh where, oh where, oh wheeeeere… is my tinsel? NARRATOR: Shocked and slightly embarrassed at the sight of Larry frantically looking for his tinsel, Bob regains his composure and reports: BOB THE TOMATO (singing): I thought I saw your tinsel back theeeeeerrrre! (looking toward the curtain) NARRATOR: Relieved to hear that Bob has seen his tinsel, behind the curtain, back there, Larry begins to sing:
