45 Oh, we're all tempted, Josh! When we're tempted to do wrong and we remember Jehovah-nissi, the Lord our Banner, we remember that I AM shows us the way to overcome evil. J.T.: Overcoming evil. Now that sounds like a wicked cool game! JOSH: Let me at it too! What is it? AARON: I'm guessing you like games with battles to fight and enemies to conquer? J.T. & JOSH: (Of course! You bet!) AVERY: Alright then. Get ready for "Amalekites Attack!" In this tes th battle, the Amalekites attack the Israelites. Moses is up there raelites. ites. on a high rock, holding his staff. As long as his hands stay ha up in the air, the Israelites will win, but whenever he drops in, whene his hands, the Amalekites will win. ill w AARON: You have until the sun sets to keep sending in support just sending when Moses needs it. Now, you only have two supporters, ow, Aaron and Hur, who can make it up the hill to help Moses. So you've got to know just when to send them! Are you wh whe ready? vi ew O nl y SOLOMON: Game On! ame rP ALL KIDS: re (music begins to "The Lord My Banner") ins Lo SONG 6: "THE LORD MY BANNER" " Fo ("Amalekites Attack Game": The Israelite army, led by Joshua("A ("Ama -who has one color banner going into war--seek to kill as many h Amalekites--who have another color banner--through swordAm Ama play while Moses holds his staff--which is his banner--and has his hands up in the air. Players send helpers to lift up Moses' hands when they are almost down and toss swords to Israelite soldiers to defend themselves. When Moses' hands are down, the Amalekites are winning--pushing back the Israelite army, and when his hands go up, the Israelites become dominant-pushing back in the other direction. At the end of the game, a banner unfurls from Moses' staff, "The Lord is My Banner.") (Different kids send Aaron and Hur to help keep Moses' arms up. When they start to lose, they realize they need to send help, then they hurriedly help raise his hands again.)
