46 (music begins to "Underscore") Fo r Pr e vi ew O nl y NARRATOR:There cannot be victory without there first being a struggle. The empty tomb would have no significance if it weren't for the finished work of Christ on the cross. In John, chapter 8, Jesus said, "Everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin." Romans 3:23 tells us there is not one human being who is without sin. But God showed His love for us by giving His Son, Jesus, to die for us . . . even though we are sinners. We've all heard the phrase, "Someone worth dying for." That's the beauty of the cross—even though our sin should have made us worthless, Jesus loved us. He loved us so much that He died to purchase our freedom. Because of that, we are . . . redeemed. We are redeemed.
