The Loaned Manger is a ton of fun, as kids get to play "stereotypical" wild west characters. To evoke that setting, we have obviously written the dialog using a heavy dose of "stereotypical wild west vernacular." This is not intended to insult the good folks of this era and locale, or to suggest that they were unintelligent. Nor is it designed to destroy all of the good grammar and vocabulary that your kids have been taught! Our hope is that the kids will have fun with it, and it will help accomplish the goal of creating a fanciful setting in which to tell the Good News of Jesus' birth in a fresh new way. However, if you have any discomfort with doing it this way, and prefer to "correct" the intentionally twisted grammar and vocabulary, by all means feel totally free to do so—we heartily support you in any efforts to "make the performance your own." Just contact us online at littlebigstuff.com and we'll happily supply you with an editable script file to make that very easy. PUBLISHER'S NOTE For Preview Only
