We love to celebrate special days with our preschoolers! Excellent preschool curricula use the calendar as a guide, knowing that holidays and seasonal celebrations make great connections with our youngest students. Preschool classes often invite family and friends to school on special days for a short program, some refreshments, and perhaps an art display. Inside this collection are five short, delightful mini musicals for these special days. No costumes, props, or sets are needed – just the heartwarming voices of your preschool students. Teach these simple songs by rote, and sing either unaccompanied or with simple piano or guitar accompaniment. Accompaniments should include melody lines and chords to best assist the children in their singing. Motions will help your students learn the words and make your program visually engaging. Motions should be very simple. Examples include: FOREWORD Your students can help to make up some of the motions. The idea is to have lots of fun!
