( music begins to "The Time has Come")
(ms. 5, bt. 3) While the children of God were longing for the Promise of
Heaven to be fulfilled, Heaven itself was waiting . . . waiting for the
unfolding of the Father's perfect plan of redemption, ordained before
the foundations of the earth were laid. Then, "when the fullness of
time had come," God sent forth His Son. The Word became flesh and
dwelt among us—Jesus, the infinite, transcendent Lord of the
Ages—born of a Virgin . . . in the town of Bethlehem, just as it had
been written.
