To nearby shepherds watching their flocks by night, the angel of the Lord said, "Fear not: for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ( music begins to "A Christmas Alleluia") For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord." It wasn't to royalty that the birth of the King of kings was declared. It was on the desolate plains of Judea to a weary group of shepherds, that the coming of the Lamb of God was proclaimed. Two thousand years have come and gone, yet it is still "Good News of great joy" for all people. As we draw near to the One Who has drawn near to us, may we bow our hearts in worship, as we lift our song of praise. NARRATOR: 70 For Preview Only
