(Venus cues East and Gertie to read their parts of the program) EAST: (spoken dry) In Isaiah, Chapter 9, the Bible tells us: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." GERTIE: Isaiah, Chapter 9 also tells us this: "The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned." And in 2nd Corinthians 4, verse 6, it says, "For God, who said, 'Let there be light in the darkness,' has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ." (Jannie hits her forehead like, "Now I get it!" Nods, looks happy!!) GERTIE and EAST: "All glory to him who alone is God, our Savior through Jesus Christ our Lord. All glory, majesty, power, and authority are his before all time, and in the present, and beyond all time!" CAST: A-MEN!! (full, bright house lights come ON!) (Staff and choir look around, look up at the lights, jump, cheer, clap, high-five, point up to the lights, etc.!) ( music begins to "How Great Our Joy!") g < 14 42 For Preview Only
