Scene 7 (Three shepherds approach.) SPARKY: Excuse me sir, can we see the child? MAGELLAN: Sparky, nobody here speaks English. SHEPHERD 1: Yes, we do. INFO: What?! Where are we? SHEPHERD 2: You are in Bethlehem. POLO: See?! SHEPHERD 1: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. INFO: What year is this?! SHEPHERD 2: 1741, of course! SPARKY: We're way off! SHEPHERD 3: You are our first visitors. Today, Christmas Eve 1741, we have founded our own town. The name is in honor of our Savior. And we are re-living the night of His birth to remember what He did for us. (The shepherds return to the nativity scene.) ROBOT: INFO: My data bank says that Christians settled here, a place where they could freely worship God. So, this isn't the real Bethlehem? And this is 1741? So, we missed it! We were right there, ready to worship the real baby Jesus. After crisscrossing the universe documenting the glory of God, we missed the biggest moment of all? MAGELLAN: Well, not so fast, Info. I don't think we missed one bit of God's glory on display. Just look at what we are witnessing tonight! Robot, how far away are we right now from Galilee? 63 Preview Copy
