Atlas—William Palange.
In 2013, the wreckage of a schooner named Atlas was discovered in
Lake Ontario, having sunk during a violent storm in 1839. You can
re-create the events of this historic event through the descriptive
music of this vivid and imaginative piece. e sound of ship bells
ring out over music portraying the majesty of this great lake as
the ship sets sail. e atmosphere then slowly takes on a more
ominous nature as the storm grows more powerful, building to a
climax as their paths collide.
