4 Who Walks In When I Walk Out?arr. Rick
Stitzel. Famously recorded by Ella Fitzgerald
with Louis Armstrong, here's a medium swinger
from the early days of jazz that makes a perfect
showcase for a charismatic vocalist. It also works
well as an optional female and male vocal duet
feature. An optional tenor saxophone solo part is
included if you don't have a vocalist. Everyone will
have fun with this nostalgic romp that will be a real

You Are the Sunshine of My LifeStevie
Wonder/arr. Mark Taylor. From the album Talking
Book, this ever-popular Stevie Wonder hit won

arranged here as a vocal or tenor sax solo feature
with a few contemporary wrinkles, this is a great

You Make Me Feel So Youngarr. Dave Wolpe.
Dave Wolpe has created a highly effective medium
swinger for vocalist and jazz band on this great
standard, arranged in both high (E-flat, Male) and
low (B-flat, Female) keys for flexibility. If a different
key is desired simply flip the page. There are no
instrumental solos, but a brief trombone section
soli and a nice full band interlude are offered for
contrast and variety. The lead trumpet range is to
high C, and there is an optional tenor saxophone
solo part to be used as a substitute for the vocal
solo. Great tune, great chart!

l You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves Youarr.
Nelson Riddle. Without a doubt this is one the of
most famous vocal studio orchestra arrangements,
as recorded by Dean Martin in 1960. Nelson Riddle
crafted a deceptively simple arrangement that is
hard-swinging and a marvelous showcase for the
vocalist. It features an eight-bar string soli followed
by a saxophone soli of equal length. An optional
synthesizer part has been included that may be
used in place of the strings. There are no saxophone
doubles, and the vocal key is E-flat throughout. This
song was the signature tune for Dean Martin, and
this arrangement is simply wonderful!

You've Got a Friend in Me (from "Toy Story")

recorded by Robert Goulet (as the voice of Wheezy)
is the most memorable. In a similar style, Mark
Taylor brings this fresh setting of a modern day
classic for vocal soloist and big band. Vocal in
A-flat.
