Dave Wolpe has created a highly effective medium swinger for vocalist and jazz band on this great standard, arranged in both high (E-flat, Male) and low (B-flat, Female) keys for flexibility. If a different key is desired simply flip the page. There are no instrumental solos, but a brief trombone section soli and a nice full band interlude are offered for contrast and variety. The lead trumpet range is to high C, and there is an optional tenor saxophone solo part to be used as a substitute for the vocal solo. Great tune, great chart! 10513934 Jazz Ensemble & Vocalist or Tenor Sax . . . . . . . . M 62.00 l You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves Youarr. Nelson Riddle. Without a doubt this is one the of most famous vocal studio orchestra arrangements, as recorded by Dean Martin in 1960. Nelson Riddle crafted a deceptively simple arrangement that is hard-swinging and a marvelous showcase for the vocalist. It features an eight-bar string soli followed by a saxophone soli of equal length. An optional synthesizer part has been included that may be used in place of the strings. There are no saxophone doubles, and the vocal key is E-flat throughout. This song was the signature tune for Dean Martin, and this arrangement is simply wonderful! 10558964 Jazz Ensemble & Vocalist with Strings . . . . . . . . . Featured in all the "Toy Story" movies, the big band version recorded by Robert Goulet (as the voice of Wheezy) is the most memorable. You can hear the train comin' down the track with this big band classic that features vocal quartet or chorus. Jerry Nowak. Young jazz ensembles simply must play this one! This well- known Latin standard is a perfect change of pace for your concert. Carefully notated for beginning groups, this is a great introduction to samba style and sits so comfortably for the band. A strong and happy Latin groove anywhere from 155 to 180 bpm is the foundation of Cajun Chili Peppers. The chart opens with the drums and the horn sections stating the opening fanfare followed by safe, full scoring for young jazz bands along with fully-notated articulations. An optional open solo section with suggested solos is included, however, improvisation is encouraged. The full ensemble then takes the chart out. This fun original is playable with as few as five horns and rhythm section on up to full big band with optional parts included for flute, clarinet and French horn.
