Music by JAY ROUSE Arr. by Jay Rouse Words by ROSE ASPINALL IF IT WEREN'T FOR GRACE Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:16) And so, all was set in motion as the Father planned. This was a grace so overwhelming that it allowed for nothing—nothing to keep us from Him. He's so full of mercy! Even though we were dead in our sin, He chose to make us alive through Jesus, His Son! But it took the sorrow of the cross to accomplish the joy of salvation. And now, because of this divine offering we can bring ourselves, our burdens and fall on our knees and draw near to His cross. We are redeemed because of God's extravagant, amazing grace.
