61 NARRATION On a quiet night in Bethlehem, the appointed time had arrived; a fulfillment of heavenly destiny; a birth that would give life to the world; and a heartbeat of hope that would cause the Heavens to resound with joyous celebration. A manger that had been used to nourish animals now held the Bread of Life for all mankind…the Word became flesh, suspended between Heaven and earth in a simple, lowly manger. (music to "Miracle in a Manger" begins) On the night Jesus was born, Mary pondered in her tender young heart the events surrounding his sacred birth. The miracle in a manger grew to be a man of miracles. Everything He touched was forever changed. (music to "Christ in Us" begins) (music to "Holding Her Baby Boy" begins) (music to "The Greatest Gift" begins) Just as Mary held this miracle baby so many years ago, we now hold Him in our hearts. Christ in us, the Hope of Glory! In this exciting Christmas season, we have a joyous opportunity to declare His love to the world. This life-giving gift is far too wonderful to keep it to ourselves! There was not only the vastness of what was to come, but the simple truth that she was now a mother. The Divine was now a baby, and she held in her arms the very embodiment of love… MIRACLE IN A MANGER HOLDING HER BABY BOY CHRIST IN US The one who took His first breath on that holy Christmas night, now breathes life into the souls of those who receive Him. We who have called on His name, the living church, now have this very same miracle living within us. THE GREATEST GIFT For Preview Only
