This original text by Donald Goldstrom juxtaposes events of the Christmas story with the present time. The implied answer to the question posed in the title is that we will go if the caroler will point the way. Set in flowing triple meter with an engaging repeated refrain which mostly alternates between 6/8, 7/8 and 3/4. Lyrical and lovely. 10754590 SATB . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1.95 The Angel Gabriel arr. Paul W. Lohman. This arrangement of the familiar carol begins very much like a traditional four- part setting but progresses in the expansion of the choral parts as the piece develops. The voice leading is superb and accessible throughout. Mary's final statement of "My soul shall laud and magnify his holy name" is florid and joyful. The final choral "Gloria" ends softly. An engaging and interesting arrangement! 10754586 SATB . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 1.95 The Heavens Delight Gwyneth Walker. The opening introduction depicts the twinkling stars and beautifully captures the spirit of the text. Useful for churches or for concert use.
