Every jazz group needs Christmas charts to perform, and this one is beautiful in its simplicity and overall effect. It begins quietly in a jazz chorale style and gradually builds to a dramatic climax followed by a sonorous ending. There are no solos. Turn off the house lights, put the spotlight on your band, and you will be able to hear a pin drop when you finish this beautiful arrangement.
