(Colossians 1:14) In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. There is something about the blood of Christ, isn't there? We can hope to understand it—but it's a mystery and unfathomable, as unexplainable as is His coming. The punishment that we deserved was put on Christ. He put on flesh and chose to walk with us, to break bread with us—and to pour out His lifeblood.
