For Preview Only 32 SCENE 4 THEO: CALEB: MORRIS: CALEB: THEO: Caleb, Morris, you helped the woman find her coin! She was really happy! That coin may have looked like nothing special, but in her eyes, it was a priceless treasure. CUE COMPASS S.E. (S.E. TEAM) Listen! There's that ringing noise again. And the compass needle is spinning! Maybe the compass is connected to things you are learning. MORRIS: You know what? I just remembered something from Sunday school! The story about the Lost Coin is one of the parables! THEO: 8 / 26 You know about parables? BULLS: THEO: CALEB: CALEB: What are par-a-bulls? (BULLS enter.) CUE TOREADOR MUSIC Did somebody say, Pair of Bulls? Uh oh, Morris, I think they're looking at you… I don't think they like your red cape. MORRIS: Oh no – I was knocked over in school by kids ACTING like bulls… (MORRIS uses set piece to evade BULLS, looking left, then right as BULLS look right, then left. BULLS spot him and chase.) And now I'm getting chased by REAL bulls! (MORRIS runs offstage. Music fades.) CALEB: CALEB: CALEB: SHEEP: (Forrest Gump parody) RUN, Morris! CUE CRASH S.E. (S.E. TEAM) Gosh, I hope he's okay! CUE SHEEP BELL (S.E. TEAM) (SHEEP enters.) Oh, look! It's a sheep! Baaaaah! THEO: What's the matter, little fella? Are you lost? SHEEP: (nodding sadly) Baaah.
