A Prayer for Peace

NARRATOR 1: "Though far away this peace we seek
Yet still, dear Lord, we pray
The day will come when we can speak
These words we long to say:"
NARRATOR 2: "Though you and I may disagree
And we are deeply flawed,
I look into your eyes and see
Another child of God."
(After A Prayer for Peace, cut Everyone Who is Anyone Reprise and then go straight to the
following narration.)
NARRATOR 1: Then Nebuchadnezzar the mighty and proud
Slowly turned and humbly announced to the crowd:
NARRATOR 2: "From henceforth my highest advisors will be
Abednego, Shadrach, and Meshach, these three.
And to their God alone I command you to raise
Your voices together in jubilant praise."
