appropriate for use in both school and church

I Will Sing—Andy Beck. "Oh, I will sing with the
rising sun, at the dawn of the morning, I will sing.
And I will sing when the day is done. When the stars
are shining, I will sing." A text inspired by nature
reveals beautiful music all around, at all times of
the day, in every season; even inside of yourself!
The craftsmanship and artistic fingerprint of Andy
Beck is evident throughout, from the sparkling
piano introduction and hushed opening phrase to

4 In The Presence of the Past—Nick Page.
Examining a real event of 1851, the composer asks
us to look to the future where the past is always
present. Do we learn from our past or do we make
the same mistakes over and over? Amazing Grace
sung over the top of the original music suggests
that we sing of what can be and build on the works
of those who came before us. The resolution
blends Swing Low with Amazing Grace for a truly
spectacular and created ending.

Jabberwocky—David L. Brunner. Lewis Carroll's
playful language, vividly describing the Jabberwock,
is the inspiration for this clever, lighthearted setting.
"Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that
bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird,
and shun the frumious Bandersnatch!" Whispered
parts and body movements add to the fun of this
creative concert novelty. Highly recommended!

l Jubilate Deo—Derrick Fox. This new and
rhythmic setting of the traditional Latin text is
perfect for teaching about minor keys as well as a
great opportunity to strengthen your choir's ability
to sing independently of the piano. While there is
some independence within the voice parts, the
interplay and the larger sections where the choir
is moving together makes it very accessible for all
choirs. The eight word Latin text allows you to teach
unification of vowels and the pure vowel sound
required of Latin.
