When God saved me at the age of seven, He began
preparing my life for the task that He chose for me.
As young as I can remember, my musical ear had
always been captivated by harmonic innovation. As I
grew, I looked for opportunities to use colorful sounds
whenever I played in church or arranged hymns.
Several years after I graduated from college, a choral
director friend suggested a new field of study to me:
choral writing. So I began compositional training, and
as I grew, the harmonic language that was instilled in
me during my developmental years had culminated
into this new path of life. The "new song" of my life
is not just the testimony of a redeemed soul; it is also
the song of a heart set on expressing the truth of God
through the beauty of music.
