5 ADULT COMMUNITY CHOIR Go to cart n A Thousand Years—arr. Andy Beck. The Christina Perri hit ballad has been sensitively arranged for choir! A rippling piano accom- paniment supports the melody, which starts simply and gradually gains momentum before blossoming into a testament of timeless true love: "I have loved you for a thousand years, I'll love you for a thousand more!" 10751883 SATB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ME 2.00 n Turn, Turn, Turn (To Everything There Is a Season)—Pete Seeger/arr. Linda Palmer. Here is a delicate setting of the beautiful Pete Seeger song. Accompanied by classical guitar, optional electric guitar or piano parts also included. Soloists are employed to sing the verses while the chorus underscores and fills in the harmonies. The refrains are filled in by the chorus and reflect the verses in both intensity and color. Wonderfully crafted while retaining the simplicity of the original. 10734839 SATB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . E 2.50 n We'll Meet Again—arr. Roger Emerson. "Don't know where, don't know when, but I know we'll meet again some sunny day." This song, one of the most famous of the World War II era, was reprised on the last broadcast of The Colbert Report by Stephen Colbert and an assembled crowd of many of his most prominent guests. A great concert closer or graduation selection! 10760586 SATB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . E 2.15 n What the World Needs Now Is Love—arr. Roger Emerson. One of the most loved hits of the sixties, this song by Burt Bacharach and Hal David continues in popularity with audiences worldwide! Opening with a soulful soprano sax, this setting moves into a jazz waltz and then a driving 4/4 groove, returning to the jazz waltz for the final vocal build "for everyone." A fantastic concert closer! 10278028 SATB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.15 4 Yesterday—John Lennon & Paul McCartney/ arr. Bob Chilcott & Jacob Narverud. This is the classic King's Singers arrangement of the Beatles hit song, but skillfully adapted for treble or mixed choirs with piano accompaniment. Tender, with a flowing texture, this arrangement retains all the integrity of the a cappella original while presenting the opportunity to perform this well-known arrangement for a whole new audience. 10823409 SATB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ME 2.25 n You've Got a Friend—Carole King/arr. Mac Huff. Carole King's classic hit from 1971, made famous by James Taylor, conveys a universal message of hope and reassurance. Featured in the Broadway musical "Beautiful," this is quite possibly the best and most universally loved friendship song ever written. Mac Huff's arrangement is very tasteful and true to the original. Highly recommended! 10518716 SATB. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ME 2.15 Order Toll-Free!
