32 SCENE 3 (As the song ends, everyone is gathered around King Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, cheering.) KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR: "Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who has sent his angel and rescued his servants! They trusted in him and defied the king's command and were willing to give up their lives rather than serve or worship any god except their own God." (Daniel 3:28) ALL: (all cheer) (King Nebuchadnezzar, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and the flames exit. The market vendors get back to work. The game players gather center stage.) DAISY: Ahuni, you're right! This is real! That story is in the Bible! EMMA: Yeah, I think I've heard it too. AHUNI: (joining the game players center stage) Just as they said, their God was able to deliver them from the fire. Not a hair of their heads was singed. Their robes were not scorched. (winking) (Emma picks up the robes and smells them.) EMMA: They don't even smell like smoke! (Jay takes one of the robes from Emma.) JAY: They're not even hot! They're just warm! (gears turning in his head) Warm? Warm robes! SOUNDFX: "Game Currency" POPPY: Hey! We got some money! (They grab ahold of Ahuni and all run over to her store.) DAISY: We solved the clue … with your help, Ahuni! Thanks. AHUNI: You're welcome! Now, how about a map? DAISY: That sounds great. Here you go. For Preview Only
