WHAT WONDROUS HOPE – SATB
LIVING HOPE
Narrator:
Because of the Sabbath, there was no time to prepare the body of Jesus for burial.
So early in the morning on the first day of the week, the women went to the tomb.
When they got there, the large stone blocking its entrance had been rolled away. An
angel sat upon it and he said, "Why do you look for the living in a place for the dead?
He is not here. He has risen, just as He said. Hurry and tell the disciples. He is alive!"
When they realized what the angel had said, they were overcome with joy. They ran
as fast as they could to share the news, the words ringing in their ears: "He is alive!
He is alive! He is alive!"
