Dt Sing Your Way Home—Joseph M. Martin.
Deeply expressive, an old poem is treated with rich
harmonies to become a moving closer for concerts
or festivals. Written with an ear to the a cappella
glee club tradition, the incorporation of Dvorak's
Going Home connects to the hearts of the audience
and wraps them in the embrace of the warm
sounds of the text: "Where'er you go, wherever you
roam, it will brighten your road; lighten your load, if
you sing, sing your way home."

lD So, We'll Go No More A-Roving—Brad Nix.
Lord Byron's well-known poem paints a moving
portrait of advancing age overcoming the frivolity
of youth. Infused with the spirit of nostalgia, these
lovely melodic lines highlight the text and showcase
musical sensitivity and rubato throughout. The
piano accompaniment is supportive and artistic but
never gets in the way of allowing the singers the
freedom to express the emotions found in the text.

Song for Justice (from "Tuvayhun: Beatitudes
for a Wounded World")—Kim Andre Arnesen.
"We sing out the truth against hunger and hate. We
sing out for justice, before it's too late!" A socially
responsive text from Charles Anthony Silvestri is
given a dramatic setting for mixed or treble choirs
with piano or optional strings and percussion. Taken
from Arnesen's major work Tuvayhun, this eighth
movement, also known as Those Who Hunger and
Thirst for Righteousness, is a declamatory statement
against poverty, discrimination and persecution.
