4L Terpsichore Dances!—Amy F. Bernon. In this
wonderfully unique composition, Amy F. Bernon's
vibrant and embracing writing centers around the
"girl power" theme of freedom and being oneself.
A brisk yet graceful tempo, an engaging piano
part, and confident vocal lines all enliven this
powerful message. "Terpsichore dances, her
rhythm entrances. She sings and the air that
you breathe turns to song. She's wild and she's
free and her hair winds around her. Terpsichore,
graceful, beautiful, strong!"

There is Peace—Jim Papoulis. The essence of
this work, in a world of conflict and violence, is
the need for a deep understanding that peace can
come from all of us. After the opening phrase,
"Look in the eyes of the children, feel the touch
of their hands, there is peace," the verse enters,
with a full, yet still gentle sound. The refrain is
more celebratory, followed by a quiet bridge and
an ending which is calm and introspective, much
like the opening.

There Is Sweet Music Here—Greg Gilpin.
Your choir will sound magnificent when they
sing this superb setting of the famous text by
Alfred, Lord Tennyson. "There is sweet music
here that softer falls than petals from blown
roses on the grass, or night dews on still
waters..." With very modest vocal demands, this
is perfect for the young choir, but mature choirs
will also appreciate its musicality and depth.
Highly recommended!

D Thunder Drums (Sounds of Nature)—Roger
Emerson. "Street" bucket drumming has become
a popular music classroom activity and is appealing

overabundance of plastic, and its general coolness
factor. This dynamic original pairs bucket drums
with choir, seamlessly blending the two disciplines
into a rock anthem with style. Creative and original!
