l Built on the Rock—arr. Hart Morris. This
challenging arrangement includes hints of
EIN FESTE BURG, making it a great choice for
Reformation Sunday. The first verse proceeds
in the expected 3/4 meter, then moves
smoothly into 6/8 and introduces mallets and
handchimes mixing duple with triple meter. The
final stanza reverts to the original meter, with
mallets driving the bass rhythms to the hymn's
triumphant conclusion.

l Called Home to Heaven (Meditation on
HOLY
MANNA)—arr. Fred Gramann. The title comes
from the last verse of the hymn Brethren We Have
Met to Worship, most often associated with the
tune
HOLY MANNA. The line, "Then He'll call us
home to heaven" resonates with those who have
lost children and other loved ones. The fugue-like
second verse is beautifully created, and is followed
by a majestic verse and prayerful conclusion.

Carillon of Praise—Cathy Moklebust. This
energetic, joyous original composition employs
constant eighth-note carillon patterns and
extensive use of LV in a piece that shimmers
from beginning to end. The inclusion of the
hymn tune

King of Heaven) creates a familiar context, and
the optional use of bass chimes in that section
adds richness and variety in sound. Carillon of
Praise will be a sparkling addition to the general
worship, concert, or festival repertoire.

Celebration on Duke Street—arr. Karissa
Dennis. Various texts are associated with the
tune DUKE STREET, making this arrangement
a practical choice throughout the church year.
A celebratory opening fanfare is used to tie
together the three statements of the hymn tune.
The first statement is a straightforward chordal
presentation, followed by a lighter version using
handchimes. The final majestic statement uses
malleted and thumb-damped triples as an
accompaniment pattern. Perfect for worship,
concerts, or festival settings.

4 Celebration Praise—Sandra Winter. This jubilant
original piece is as much a delight to ring as it is
to hear. A bold, joyous opening gives way to a
memorable melody filled with both rising and falling
peals reminiscent of tower bells in a belfry. A brief
middle verse gives the melody to the lower treble
bells, allowing them their moment in the sun before
the entire ensemble resounds once more in effusive
celebration. A wonderful addition to any worship,
concert, or festival setting.

wander, Lord I feel it," the opening segment in
this setting creates a quieter, more contemplative
mood. The momentum eventually builds for the
following rousing verse as well as another more
thoughtful verse on chimes. Always anchored by
the well-known hymn tune and surrounded by more
contemporary harmonies, the listener is filled with
a sense of wandering by the end, bringing to mind
