See Saw: Rhythm Composition—Cori Bloom. This fun group
activity is an Orff arrangement and rhythm composition for first or
second grade to review quarter note, two eighth notes, and quarter
rests using fun playground two-beat rhythms. First students learn a
simple arrangement of See-Saw, which is included, on the barred
instruments. Then they are divided into small groups and given a set
of rhythm cards that are printable in color and black and white, and
asked to arrange them into their own composition. Students can
transcribe their composition on the included worksheet or choose
