(Without music)
NARRATOR 1: After the sabbath, at the dawning of the first day of
the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
And there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord came down
out of heaven and rolled away the stone.
(Music begins)
NARRATOR 2: His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing
was white, like snow. Those who were keeping watch were shaken by
fear of him, and they became like dead people. And the angel said to
the women, "Do not be afraid! For I know that you are looking for
Jesus, who has been crucified."
NARRATOR 1: He is not here; for He is risen, just as He said. Come,
and see the place where He was laid.
