known folk song from the country of Georgia,
the poem speaks of lost loved ones who can still
be found in "the rose's bloom, the nightingale's
song, and the star's shining light." Lovely vocal

t Aleotti/ed. Jami Lercher. For double choir,
here is a late 16th-century motet by Raffaella
(Vittoria) Aleotti, a composer believed to be the
first woman to have sacred music appear in
print in 1593. Using text from Song of Solomon,
Aleotti employs elements of both Renaissance
and Baroque styles to convey the poetic idea
of "Arise, my love." It may be performed a
cappella, or with instruments doubling the vocal
lines, as it would have performed at that time.
An instrumental score with optional continuo is
available separately.

gins. Higgins' arrangements of three North-
American traditional songs are sophisticated

second, Little wheel a-turnin', where the melody
is passed around the voices and coloured with

Sky is an oratorio about the history of flight,
and mankind's quest to conquer the heavens.
Told through the words of 11 of our greatest
astronomers, inventors, visionaries and pilots,
it charts our relentless need to explore the
universe, defy our earthly bonds, reach for the
face of God, and ultimately claim our place
among the stars. This is the sixth movement
of the work with lyrics, in French, from Jules
Verne. Ethereal sounding, with vocal lines and
an accompaniment that swirl, flow, and then dart
from place to place throughout the movement.

This stunning setting of the traditional Latin
text is so rich and so deep that the music
perfectly matches the quietly profound ardor of
the timeless plainchant. The clarinet provides
an ethereal counterpoint to the SATB divisi
a cappella voices that are lush with occasional
cluster harmonies. Intended for a capable
choir, it can be performed in both worship and
concert settings.

due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Inspiring and

Over 200 singers from five high schools coast
to coast learned the piece separately using

fall, you do not walk alone." This ethereal setting
of a traditional Irish blessing is scored for mixed

in intensity, it transitions into the final stanza with
