Sunday Morning Song
Words and Music by
JASON COX, JOSEPH HABEDANK,
and SUE C. SMITH
Arranged by Phil Nitz
Brightly, with hope e = 165
NARRATOR : We call Him the Lamb of God, the Christ who laid down
His life to atone for our sins. Today we look at the hill
where He died with wonder and expectation because we
know what's waiting just ahead. But think of how it was
to be there that day, watching Him pour out His blood,
take a final breath, and then cry "It is finished." Feel the
grief as His body is taken from the cross and buried.
(music begins)
But then imagine the joy of Sunday morning and
hearing the unbelievable news, "Jesus is alive!"
