F O R E W O R D
"Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only
God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen"
(1 Timothy 1:17, CSB).
In a few cultures, the idea of an absolute sovereign is
normal. However, in most societies, the individual rules.
Each person makes his or her own decisions. We resist
accepting anyone who wants to rule over us.
But Jesus is our eternal King. He is the sacrificial lamb,
the One who died and rose from the dead. He is perfect
and compassionate, displaying selfless love. He is worthy
to be worshiped and obeyed.
This musical is not only a tribute to Jesus, but, through
music and word, explains why we can trust and submit
to this King.
He is risen! He is risen indeed!
