Finn McCool—Robert Buckley. The title figure was
a mythical Irish giant that had numerous delightful
and colorful stories associated with him. In keeping
with the Irish theme, the music starts as a funky Irish
jig with an infectious groove and call-and-response
structure. This develops into a melody reminiscent
of an Irish air before the two melodies are played
together for a invigorating final flourish.
