The Caravan Club March—Karl L. King/
arr. Andrew Glover. The great Karl King wrote
many wonderful and interesting works. Heavy at
times and light at others, this march was often
used in the circus to accompany tiger acts. An
ominous introduction leads to a lumbering first
strain, followed by an almost ragtime-like second
strain. The trio features a melody with euphonium
countermelody. The weighty break strain returns
to a minor key feel and then concludes with an
embellished version of the trio. One of the "March
King's" very best!

bold counterlines in the baritone voices are featured
along with gallant trumpeting that all contribute to the
regimental splendor that is evident throughout.
