Signal Drop—Steve Wiest. Here is some music
that is super hip but also accessible to younger
bands. Students and audiences will love the
programmatic nature of this chart. The second

story behind the music, the blues-tinged melody
along with the minor harmony sounds great. There
are plenty of solos to go around, with one for alto,
trumpet, and trombone - and the shout chorus is
killer. A fun selection!
