Narration 3
Narrator 1: After Jesus and the disciples finished the meal, they sang a
hymn and then went out to the Mount of Olives to a placed
called Gethsemane. Jesus said to them, "Sit here while I go
and pray."
Narrator 2: He took Peter, James, and John with Him. He began to
be sorrowful and troubled. He said to them, "My soul is
overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death. Stay here
and keep watch with me."
Narrator 1: Going a little farther, Jesus fell with His face to the ground
and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, take this cup from
me. Yet not my will, but Your will be done."
Narrator 2: Being in deep anguish, Jesus prayed more earnestly, and
His sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
