Narration 6
Narrator 1: The earth stood silent as the Savior of the world died in
fulfillment of God's ultimate redemption plan.
Narrator 2: This humble Man who, being in very nature God, had made
Himself nothing, taking on the role of a servant, being made
in human likeness; He had humbled Himself and become
obedient to death – even death on a cross.
Narrator 1: A Roman centurion, who had been part of the execution
(music begins) of Jesus, was overwhelmed by what he had
just witnessed. "Truly this was a righteous man."
Narrator 2: The very words of Jesus, no doubt, echoed in the hearts of
many who stood at the foot of that cross and witnessed His
death: Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his
life for his friends.
