X:
Now that the team has been assembled, why don't you fill us in on
the details of the mission, Ms. King?
MS. KING: Absolutely. Lately, I have noticed some unusual activity at one of
the many properties I own in this town—a local warehouse. It seems
there are shipments arriving every day . . . brown paper packages of
all shapes and sizes. Now, naturally, (innocent tone) I try to stay out
of the affairs of my tenants, but I do need to know if anything illegal
is going on.
L:
Commander, I could use my new invention—(in an announcer voice)
the "JingleAlert," patent pending . . . (he holds up a small box with a
big red button)
X:
(skeptical) Another invention? Agent L, I don't need to remind
you about the . . . track record of your other inventions, do I? The
Chocolate Anti-Gravity Boots?
E:
The Cotton Candy Umbrella?
L:
Oh, no, Commander. Not this time. The "JingleAlert" has been tested
and is field ready. When our CIK team retrieves the information for
Ms. King, I'll just push this button and alert you here at the base.
Then you will know the mission has been accomplished!
