NARRATOR 1: (ms. 11) Christmas is everywhere! We see it in the flashy yard
decorations down our streets . . . and in the store displays that
appear earlier every year. We hear it in the endless parade of
seasonal favorites on the radio . . . and the noise of traffic and
crowds.
NARRATOR 2: But there is so much more to the coming of Christmas than a
bright song and a twinkling light. Behind every perfectly-wrapped
gift is an unspoken need; behind every holiday greeting is a silent
prayer.
NARRATOR 1: So where can we begin to find that missing part of the Christmas
puzzle? Perhaps we need to simply go back to when Christmas
first began . . .
