L4 29.95 Processional Joy—Ludwig van Beethoven/ arr. Barbara Brocker. This processional, based on Beethoven's Ode to Joy, has a bell tree of six bells playing the melody. Accompaniment can be either a 2-5 octave bell choir, a 2-5 octave chime choir, or both. Some parts are simpler to ring, allowing for easier parts to be given to the "processionally challenged" ringer. Three of the four phrases are nearly identical, so memorization is simplified. This processional in C major can be used in any season with a small or large choir. 10283894 2-5 Octave Bell Tree . . . . . . . . . L2+ 2.95 Rays of Hope—Sandra Eithun. Throughout all of life's trials, hope gives us the strength to rebuild and confidently reinvent our circumstances. This original piece depicts the remnants of a storm that has passed, and then gives way to a bouncy theme that conjures imagery of dancing light. A thoughtful middle section reminds the listener that uncluttered days are never a given or soon forgotten. Hope does return with the theme to round out the ending of the piece. Techniques such as singing bell, suspended bells with mallets, thumb damp, and LV are incorporated. The texture of the piece is further enhanced by the addition of chime tree, ocean drum and/or rain sticks, and optional handchimes, all combining to add interest. 11375594 3-6 Octave . . . . . . . . L3 5.95 Refuge—Freeman Lewis & Daniel Teasley/ arr. Michael Glasgow. A bluegrass toe- tapper! Commissioned for the 2020 Handbell Musicians of America Area 5 Spring Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, this piece starts open and stately before launching with rhythmic energy into a fun concert piece with country style. It brilliantly pairs the Freeman Lewis hymn tune BOURBON (I Take My Refuge in the Lord) with a Daniel Teasley hymn, I'VE FOUND A REFUGE. Marts, mallets, plucks, ring-touches and more are sure to excite your concert audiences and congregations alike. The optional band (fiddle, tambourine, bass, and guitar/mandolin/banjo) may be added in any combination for extra charm! 11375567 3-6 Octave . . . . . . . . L3 6.25 11375568 Instrumental Parts Tambourine, Fiddle, Frets, Bass . . . . . . . L3 19.95 Remembering—John A. Behnke. An original piece to remember those who have passed away due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this reflective piece has minimal bell changes and no sharing of bells. The music begins with a tolling bell, then a melody emerges which seeks to express the significance of each life lived, including their struggle with this virus. Use for All Saints or for a memorial Sunday. 11332835 2 Octave . . . . . . . . . . L2 3.95 11332834 3-5 Octave . . . . . . . . L2 3.95 Reverberations—Sallie Lloyd/arr. Jennifer Fry. This award-winning piece is given new life and enhanced sound in this expanded revision of the original four-octave composition! Driving eighth notes and rich harmonies abound throughout the piece, which has a very classical feel overall. A perfect choice for any ensemble looking to showcase their technique and musicality! 11375867 5-7 Octave . . . . . . . . L4 4.95 Ring for the Earth—Chi-hin Leung. The peaceful theme of this original work makes use of the rich overtone of the instrument while the middle section uses handchimes to create a contrasting section. The smooth but surprising modulation provides interesting tone colours that depict the spirit of harmony in a world of diversity. The use of LV accompaniment beautifully supports the engaging melody and invites interpretive expression throughout. This will be a sensitive and beautiful addition to your repertoire. 11383325 5 Octave w/ 2 oct. handchimes . . L3 4.25 Salut d'Amour—Edward Elgar/arr. Darrell Richards. This arrangement of an Elgar piano classic (translation: Love's Greeting) is simple to learn for most intermediate choirs and features flowing melodies and lush harmonies. A sweet piece. 11359398 3-5 Octave . . . . . . . . L3 4.95 The Sower/Johnny Appleseed—Kathleen Wissinger. Useful for both school and church, this lively, original composition depicts someone taking a lighthearted walk, scattering seeds along the way. Mallets and thumb damps set the tone for this airy and optimistic piece. While in 4/4 meter, a few easy 5/4 and 6/4 measures (allowing time for the walker to go around a rock) make this a good learning piece to introduce mixed meter. The optional woodblock/tic-toc block adds even more spunk. Fun and festive! 11361798 3-5 Octave . . . . . . . . L3 5.00 Streams of Life—arr. Jason W. Krug. This exciting original tune from the pen of Jason Krug is not to be missed! Featuring alternating measures of 4/4 and 3/4, the joyful, memorable melody moves throughout the ensemble. Frequent interludes take the piece off in different directions before coming back to the melody once more. A slower, retrospective middle section gives a respite before the driving feeling returns once more to close the piece out in explosive, festive fashion! 11394260 3-6 Octave . . . . . . . . L4 5.95 There Is a Happy Land—arr. Mitchell Eithun. This simple folk hymn is given a creative setting that uses a variety of techniques as well as changes in tempo and dynamics. While all quarter and half notes, the cut-time meter with some syncopation makes the piece a little trickier than the level might indicate, but it is worth the time. Optional percussion makes this a lively arrangement that is as fun to hear as it is to play. 11359391 3-5 Octave Opt. Percussion. . . . Enjoy the challenge and musicality of these three original, reproducible pieces for just eight bells. Creative and intriguing, they will be useful for Lent, Pentecost, and general use. Titles include: Quickening Spirit; Broken Vessels and Fantasy in F Minor. 11317620 2 Octave for 8 bells (F5-F6) . . L3 17.95 T h u n d e r s n o w — E l i z a b e t h P e t e r s . Thundersnow is an unusual kind of thunderstorm, with snow falling instead of rain. This original tone poem captures the feel of the gently falling snow becoming more intense, with lightning and thunder portrayed by creative, rhythmic malleting, mart-lifts and shakes. The addition of optional sleigh bells tops it off! This is an exciting, fresh, creative work which will delight your ringers and audience! 11383333 5-6 Octave . . . . . . .
