Cameron's Song (April 12 & 9)—
Roger Emerson. "If I could turn back time, I would
not let you die, and you'd live that life of hope."
This important and moving piece was written
as a musical response to the sudden loss of a
student by suicide. Several solos weave in and
out of the simple yet poignant choral sections that
will provide ample opportunity for creative and
emotional expression in singers.

Dona Nobis Pacem—Katie Jenkins.
The traditional Latin text and original musical setting
help to express our hope for peace and healing for
our world, as well as to give space to honor and
mourn all that has been lost. Part of the five-song
May You Heal Project, these titles offer music of
comfort, peace, renewal, and self-awareness as part

This modern concert piece was inspired by those
who leave us too soon and reminds us that they
live on in our memories. A unison melody cascades

rhythmic drive in a tenor-bass feature that expands
into full choir with soaring melodic lines and beautiful
clusters and suspensions. A fitting memorial for
those we miss.
