Throughout all of life's trials, hope gives us the strength to rebuild and confidently reinvent our circumstances. This original piece depicts the remnants of a storm that has passed, and then gives way to a bouncy theme that conjures imagery of dancing light. A thoughtful middle section reminds the listener that uncluttered days are never a given or soon forgotten. Hope does return with the theme to round out the ending of the piece. Techniques such as singing bell, suspended bells with mallets, thumb damp, and LV are incorporated. It brilliantly pairs the Freeman Lewis hymn tune BOURBON (I Take My Refuge in the Lord) with a Daniel Teasley hymn, I'VE FOUND A REFUGE. Marts, mallets, plucks, ring-touches and more are sure to excite your concert audiences and congregations alike. L3+ 4.95 Together As One—Jason Krug. This original piece has a strong melody and is filled with rhythm and energy which is emphasized by well-placed marts and mart-lifts. It segues to TD treble which supports the melody in the mid-octaves then adds handchime support to the bass melody. A very nice 'B' section features handchime section with melody again featured in the rich, tonal mid-range. Returning to the original theme, the melody returns with a brief section featuring LV treble support, gradually building in energy to an exciting ending. Perfect for worship or concert, this piece nicely features every octave of the bell and chime range - ringers will love it! Dave Baker. This favorite traditional spiritual has been given fresh treatment in this rhythmic and engaging arrangement. Techniques include shakes, mallets, TD, mart, mart-lift, and RT. Low bass is featured in a 'call-and-response' section. L3 4.25 Wellerman (A Traditional Sea Shanty)— arr. Kathleen Wissinger. This jaunty arrangement of the TikTok sensation will be crowd pleaser for sure. Two incompatible scores are included in the folio: score A is Level 2 for two octaves, and score B (more complex) is Level 3 for 3-5 octaves. A quick tempo in cut time is the main reason for the higher rating. Neither score has bell changes, bell sharing, or techniques, so they can be played without tables or pads.
