Optimize teaching for non-music readers! If you have handchimes at your disposal, teaching music
reading with the help of colors couldn't be simpler! Using colors or shapes corresponding to pitch names
is an effective way to teach eye and hand coordination, and colored bands can be wrapped around the
handchime tubes so that each ringer can identify a pitch with a color. In the case of vision deficiency, the
shape may also be drawn on the band. Used in Boomwhacker and KidsPlay systems, these are available in
