NARRATOR: JESUS IS ALIVE! That's the reason we come once again, like each Easter
before, and rehearse the story of the cross. Once again, we follow the Scripture as it takes
us from the upper room, where Jesus met with His disciples, to the garden of Gethsemane,
to Pilate's Hall, down the Via Dolorosa, all the way to the foot of Golgotha.

And why do we choose to relive such pain and agony? Because in His suffering we are
reminded again of His sacrifice. In His death, we are given life, and only by the shedding
of His blood can our sins be forgiven.
