And without everyone constantly glued to their devices, families spent more time talking with each other than we do now. We took the time to listen to others. Well, if you didn't have smart phones, or computers, what did you do for fun? Oh, we had lots of fun. Seems like we were always outside playing. . . riding bikes, building forts, climbing trees – or playing kickball with our neighbors. I suppose we do take a lot for granted. I mean, you didn't have the technological advances we have today. Yeah, but they had a lot more time than we do. We really didn't have more time. We just took more time. Yeah, with all our busy schedules, there's hardly any time to just sit and be together. I do feel kind of rushed. Now that we've started soccer, I can hardly get all my homework done. We have games on the weekends, and practice almost every day after school. And almost every day I'm late! Late for school – late for practice – even late for dinner!
